THE COST OF GUN
VIOLENCE?
By: Brandon Fox
INTRODUCTION
The question is should gun makers pay
the cost of gun violence? Some people
say yes, others say no. Gun makers
should not be forced to pay the cost of
gun violence. Do guns cause violence?
Are guns dangerous? Do gun makers
have anything to do with gun violence?
DO GUNS CAUSE VIOLENCE?
Do guns cause violence or do people?
FACTS
Not everyone who owns a gun causes
violence or is violent. Another key point is
you can`t blame a gun for someone`s
actions. Law inforcement agencies use guns
and don`t cause violence and crimes, but
prevent them. It is important to remember
you can`t blame everyone who owns a gun
of the actions of some people.
DO GUNS CAUSE VIOLENCE?
Guns don`t cause violence; violent people
cause violence.
ARE GUNS REALLY
DANGEROUS?
Guns can be safe if the person with the
gun can be safe.
FACTS
Gun makers have to put a safety lock on
all the guns they make. To point out,
gun makers can`t sell guns that aren`t
safe to use. Knives can be just as
dangerous as guns and be found in
kitchens. In fact, almost any household
object can be dangerous or even kill you
if not used properly.
ARE GUNS REALLY
DANGEROUS?
Guns are only dangerous if they are
used in dangerous ways or not used in
a responsible way.
DOES MAKING GUN MAKERS
PAY THE COST GUN VIOLENCE
FIX ANYTHING?
Do gun makers even have anything to do
with gun violence?
FACTS
Forcing gun makers to pay wouldn`t stop
gun violence. For this reason, making
gun makers pay doesn`t fix the problem.
It would punish gun makers for something
they didn`t cause. With this in mind,
making gun makers pay isn`t a good
solution.
DOES MAKING GUN MAKERS
PAY THE COST OF GUN
VIOLENCE FIX ANYTHING?
Gun makers don`t know how someone
will use guns, they just make the guns.
CONCLUSION
I think gun makers shouldn`t be forced to
pay the cost of gun violence. What about
you?
CONCLUSION
If gun makers are forced to pay the cost
of gun violence, gun violence still won`t
stop.
