MESSAGE TO STATE LEGISLATORS
1. Active part in Iowa Veterans Coalition
2. Tax exemption on all military pay, IDT, and retirement
pension
3. Support to NGEAP funding
4. Military housing homestead tax credit
INTERNAL TEAM OBJECTIVES
– Be a resource to our membership on legislative matters
– Facilitate grass-roots efforts of our membership in support of
the entire legislative / resolutions process….from idea to
resolution to bill to policy & law.
– Endstate is effective strategic relationships with Iowa
Legislative Delegations & Staff, EANGI, and NGAUS in order
to promote the professional development and sustainment of
the Iowa National Guard through legislative engagement.
EXTERNAL TEAM OBJECTIVES
• Build strategic relationships with State and Federal Legislators
• Deliver Joint INGOA & EANGI Legislative Messages in person
• Review legislative actions with CODEL
• Express our gratitude for past support of the Iowa National Guard
• Provide SME / Voice of Experience & Impact Perspectives
