RULES and REGULATIONS
The XIV Meeting Internazionale C.I.S. Memorial “G. Manoni”, organized by S.S.D. TEAM
MARCHE C.I.S. S.r.l., will be held on October 18th and 19th 2014, c/o Swimming Pool of Fabriano
(AN), Via B. Gigli 6 - 25 meter base, eight lanes - anti-wave ropes.
GENERAL RULES
The Meeting is only for athletes who are regularly affiliated to clubs associated to their National
Swimming Associations, members of FIN or FINA during the 2014-2015 season may attend.
The following categories are eligible :

Electronic timing by the ITALIAN TIME-KEEPER FEDERATION (FICR).
Maximum of 4 individual events per athlete, plus relays.

freestyle-backstroke-breaststroke-butterfly -medley (best 16 race times as
per entries)
freestyle RAG–JUN–ASS - only 2 male relays and 2 female relays per team
freestyle ES. A - only 2 male relays and 2 female relays per team
Points will be awarded to the top eight athletes of the individual classifications, as follows:

= 9 points,
2nd
= 7 points,
3rd
= 6 points,

= 2 points,
8th
= 1 point,
Relays = double points and points will be assigned up to the 16th team racing.
The first three, of each category, will receive an award.
The points for the 200mt race will be assigned to the best racing times and not by category.
The Es. A classified results, will decree the winning team of the “II Trofeo Città di Fabriano”.
The “Rag M year 2001” results will form a separate classification, valid both for the individual
awards and the final classification of the teams.
The 1st place winning team will be awarded with the 14th TROPHY C.I.S. the 2nd and 3rd place
teams will also receive trophies.
Note: the athletes that have won a gold medal at the Italian Youth Championships – Rome 2014 will be hosted free....(info on how)
The coaches of the first three classified teams will receive money premiums as follows:

Cost:
Euro 6.50 per entry
Euro 10,00 per relay.
Entries may be closed once the maximum number of athletes has been reached (the same
regarding the 200mt race). Should this happen and the Team’s entries will not be accepted, S.S.D
TEAM MARCHE C.I.S. will promptly inform the Team.
S.S.D TEAM MARCHE C.I.S. declines any responsibility for the organization of the event and is not
liable for physical, personal damage or burglary.
Regarding any other rule not included in this “rules and regulations sheet”, the technical rules of
the Italian Swimming Federation (F.I.N.) will be applied.
