Don Gadsden

CEO , Catena Services
Don Gadsden has led several turnaround business situations in his 30 years experience
as CEO and CFO of large companies. Don has worked predominately in the FMCG and
related industries. Originally from Australia, he was involved in mergers, acquisitions
and restructuring of businesses in the food and beverage industry.
In the last 17 years Don has been working in Asia and has been CEO of a number of
businesses, involving transformation situations, M&A, and business development. He
has lived in China, Singapore and Indonesia, and led transformation teams in many
Asian markets.
Andrew Christon
General Manager , The Canton Club
Andrew started his career in hospitality over 20 years ago working in hotels as a Savoy
Trainee at Claridges and then moved into department head positions at The Dorchester
and Le Meridien Hotels in London. After nine years in leading hotels he moved into the
world of exclusive private members clubs which took him to Indonesia, Russia,
Thailand and Japan with the same company over a period of ten years.
He returned to the UK and went into business, opening four contemporary quality
driven Restaurants. In 2007 he moved to Dubai to open and establish Dubai's Premier
Private Business Club before moving to China seven months ago to launch The Canton
Club.
Stephen Shen
GE Capital, Associate Director, Sales & Marketing and formerly, Vice PresidentStrategic Marketing, also Six Sigma Black Belt & CPA (Aust.).
Stephen has accumulated strong international experience in Change & Innovation in
the Banking and Financial Services, industrial corporations, as well as Quality &
Process enhancement, project management, and execution for companies including GE
Corporate & other Business Groups.
Stephen brings to GE over seven years of experience in finance, sales & marketing.
This includes introduction of corporate lending products, leading corporate banking
business development and branch sales teams in China, leading a mortgage sales team
in Australia and acting as a senior financing manager in 2007 to fulfill the project
financing requirements of one top telecommunication corporation in China.
