operative in our lives. Thus

now?

mission of Christ is an ongoing call to live a life of sacrifice.

The Church continues to call us to participate in the threefold mission of Jesus as members of the Church , namely, as prophet, king and priest.

Furthermore

PCP II calls us to build the

Church of the Poor as a priestly community.

PCP II gives three dimensions of how we live this communal sharing in

Christ’s priesthood:

1. as a consecration - our commitment to God in everything we do

2.

as mediating God’s plan - our work to transform the world

3. as sacrifice of life together with Christ

- our task to celebrate in the

Eucharist

How are we going to participate in the threefold mission of Jesus as members of the Church?

JESUS AS A PROPHET

Jesus as a prophet spoke of God’s word backed up with deeds of power and life witnessing
