Pledge Requirements
Must accrue 12 points each semester of pledging by attending:
● 2 of the 4 Fall Meetings
● 2 of the 3 Spring Meetings
● At least 3 socials
● At least 3 service events
● At least 2 fundraisers
● At least 3 hours of liaisoning (3 hours = 1 point)
Required events included:
**Exceptions: APPROVED excused
● Adopt-A-Highway both Fall and Spring
2 weeks prior to event**
● Fall: Pledge Potluck Dinner, Operation Christmasabsences
Child
● Spring: Service Raleigh, Health Expo, Relay for Life
Must purchase AED tshirt and paddle
Member Requirements

AED Constitution
What it says:
Pledges that do not complete the required points during both semesters of their pledging year shall not be
inducted into the organization in April.
Members that do not complete the required points during a given semester will be placed on probation the
following semester. All missed points must be made up during the following semester in addition to the
required points to achieve active member status. If the missed points are not made up the following
semester, the member must meet with Dr. Flick, Eva, & Kerry to discuss membership status.
Seniors who do not complete the required points during their final year in the organization shall not receive
AED graduation cords.
Officers failing to fulfill the given responsibilities and duties may be removed by the regular members of the
organization.
