well today so that we will be ready for our next lesson.
First, we'll check attendance. As I call your name, please raise
your hand and say 'Present!' so that we can mark your attendance
accurately today.
Before we start our lesson, I would like to discuss first the
classroom rules.
Remember that during our discussion, you have to listen when
someone is speaking, raise your hand if you want to answer or
ask questions, respect everyone and treat them nicely, and enjoy
learning as you pay attention to our today’s lesson.
And also, please do remember our set of classroom rules that

Volume refers to how loud or soft someone speaks. What does a
higher volume usually indicate in speech?
Exactly! A higher volume often signifies emphasis or importance in
speech. Now, what does it mean when we say a word or phrase is
stressed in speech?
Can anyone explain what juncture and rate of speech are?
Well done! Juncture is about how we group words together, and
rate of speech refers to how fast or slow we speak. These aspects
also affect how we perceive and understand speech.
f) Presentation of the Lesson
Now that we've refreshed our memories on these key points, let's
apply our knowledge in today's activities. Are there any questions
before we move forward?
Alright, let's get started with our lesson for today!

2. Lesson Proper
Viewing Genre is another type of genre which is in a form of
visual. Meaning, something that it is seen or viewed especially
that of found in television screen or in an internet-based programs
such as YouTube, Netflix and other platforms that we watched.
An analysis is an examination of the details of the material
viewed, a critical study of its influence, effect or implication to the
viewer, to a specific audience or to the society. Wherein we do
not simply watch for entertainment purposes but to gain
information easily and efficiently.
In examining the details of the material viewed, a genre analysis
seeks to identify the category of the material viewed. This is
followed by a careful examination of how the message and the
purpose of the viewed material creates impact to him.
For example:
Matanglawin by Kuya Kim Atienza on Philippines’ Growing
Problem on Plastic
