Best Batsman award Registration Fees: Rs. 25,000 (Including cricket Kit) Registration deadline: April 08, 2017 MAJU INTERUNIVERSITY & CORPORATE CRICKET LEAGUE – 2017 4th Hangama Challenge Terms & Conditions • The Cricket Tournament is organized by the Tournament Organizing Committee of Mohammad Ali Jinnah University - Karachi • Any team or player entering and participating in the tournament has agreed to be bound by the Terms & Conditions and Rules & Regulations of the Tournament, team registration forms and any other arrangements as amended from time to time. This may include changes to rules, fixtures, prizes, announcements as well as terms and conditions that may be made by Tournament Organizing Committee of MAJU-Karachi prior to and/or during the tournament. • Decisions involving the operation of the tournament, organization, interpretation of rules & regulations, terms & conditions or other tournament/event matters will be determined by Tournament Organizing Committee of MAJU-Karachi. The decisions of Tournament Organizing Committee of MAJU-Karachi are final and binding. Provision of accurate team and player information • It is expected that each player registering in the tournament provides their true, correct and up to date information through CNIC and Official Student Card. • Participation in the Cricket tournament is not guaranteed until receipt of completed team registration form and payment. Completion of the team registration form and/or registration payment does not guarantee Participation. • All the captains of participating teams are strictly advice to complete and submit the forms provided by Tournament Organizing Committee of MAJU-Karachi till the provided date. Matches and Squad • All teams must have appropriate playing kits. All players taking the field must be dressed in correct team attire. Failure to adhere to this may result in the team facing penalties. • Tournament Organizing Committee of MAJU-Karachi has not allowed participation of any player who has played a high level cricket. • The official tournament 'Rules & Regulations' and the corresponding document indicate what constitutes a 'forfeit' and how forfeited matches will be dealt with. If a team forfeits, there will not be a rescheduled match, however the present team will be awarded winning points and a suitable net run rate. The team forfeiting will be deducted one match point and lose -0.5 on their NRR. • In the event of adverse weather or Law & Order Conditions, teams are still expected to be present for matches unless otherwise notified, and matches will proceed as scheduled. If at least 5 overs per side cannot be played, in most cases the match will be rescheduled on one of the reserve days. However, Tournament Organizing Committee of MAJU-Karachi cannot be held responsible for adverse weather and/or Law and order conditions negatively affecting matches. • A squad must consist of a minimum of 14 players. Additional members may only be consider as manager or assistant manager or team official. Payment of Registration Fees • All teams will have to pay in full for their team registrations by the specified official closing date. This information will be communicated to captains. Failure to do so may result in the team being removed from the tournament or not being able to progress to the next round. • The preferred mode of payment is Cash / pay order (In the name of Mohammad Ali Jinnah University Karachi). Alternative methods may be arranged if communicated and approved by Tournament Organizing Committee of MAJU-Karachi in advance. Correspondence of Team & Player information • Players and teams, usually via the captain or vice-captain, are expected to be in regular contact with Tournament Organizing Committee of MAJU-Karachi regarding: o Player injuries and changes to squad Tournament Participation fees &others: 1. Entrée fees of the tournament will be Rs: 25,000/= per team. 2. Each match based on 20 over and League basis. 3. The grounds and timings/days of the matches will be confirmed by the Tournament Organizing Committee of MAJU-Karachi after submission of the entry fee and documents. 4. Any participating team will not allow challenging the Results/Scores & Decisions of the Tournament Organizing Committee of MAJU-Karachi which will be present in the ground during match and the decision of committee shall be deemed final. 5.
