Research Group Notes
Adam- writing about a beach at a summer place he would go to that is a private beach
at a gated community in Egypt and is planning on showing it on a map. He is going to
include photos of him and his friends swimming and jumping into the water to show sort
of a physical connection.
Spencer- He wants to write about a freshwater lake since he has been writing about
freshwater pollution in his focus group article. He plans on presenting it in slides to the
class to include pictures of the place he chooses to write about. He is not 100% sure of
what spot he wants to write about yet or specifics in general but we talked about an
overview and things to include like photos videos and why he chose it.
Connor- I am writing about Squa Rock which is a beach close to my house that has a lot
of woods and trails that you’re able to walk through. I plan on writing about it which I
already have and then will be doing a slide show to include photos and explain why I
have such a connection to it and really enjoy it.
Diana- She is writing about a beach that is about ten minutes from her house called
Swansea beach and explains how special it is to her because of all the memories and
wonderful times she has there with her family. She is going to do a presentation on it
along with other people and will be including photos and explaining why we should visit
if we ever get the chance to.
