equipment, materials, specifications and standards to be
used in the project.

shall fulfil the requirements presented in the codes,
regulations and standards for this project. In all cases the
requirements of United Arab Emirates laws shall to be
met.
Note should be taken that the site is in a tropical location
and therefore all equipment must be suitable protected
from humidity, temperature, vermin, dust etc.
The project language is English. Operation
maintenance documents shall be also be in English.

All Supplier's drawings shall be prepared according to the
following scales:
Site plans 1 : 500, 1 : 1000, 1 : 2000
General arrangement drawings 1 : 20, 1 : 50, 1 : 100,
1 : 200
Service piping, cable trays, instrument location,
structural framing 1 : 50, 1 : 100
Details 1 : 50, 1 : 20, 1 : 10, 1 : 5, 1:1.
Suppliers shall preferably use size A1 (A0) for drawings
and A4 for documents according to ISO 5457-1999. Size
A3 can also be used for electrical and instrument
drawings.
The document folders shall be preferably size A4 loose
leaf books with filing holes according to ISO 838-1974
(80-80-80).
Each folder must have a table of contents, section dividers
and appropriate folder title on the spine.
All drawings and documents shall be provided in
electronic PDF format.
