Seawater Lift Flexible Hoses are connected to the suction of the Seawater Lift Pumps (PBB690202A/B/C/D).
The pumps operate in 4 x 33% configuration. Information shown is for 1 hose.
(2)
A protection screen with mesh shall be provided to prevent the entrance of large objects that may damage the pumps.
Mesh size to be confirmed by Vendor considering marine growth, max 50mm.

To be installed on site.
(4)
End of hose at -40 m below sea level with normal sea water level at 15.0 m from hull bottom.
(5)
Shock dosage 2 times per day during 30 minutes per line or 1 hour one a day.
(6)
Vendor to provide real pressure drop vs flow for Seawater Lift Pumps design.
(7)
Vendor to provide real pressure drop for normal and shock hypochlorite injection flowrate.
(8)
Seawater Salinity = 35 g/kg ; Oxygen Content = (Hold 1).
(9)
Vendor to confirm if caisson diameter is adequate for operation.
(10)
Vendor to confirm material of construction. Vendor to ensure protection against internal and external corrosion due to exposure to seawater.
(11)
Hose Parts physically connected to the hull (i.e. risers hang-off cups components) shall be subject to class rules.
