ABSTRACT
The aim of this report is to know the corruption at the Philippines and on how it affect the living
of every Filipino's. A survey of Corruption Perception Index; Philippines are one of those high
corruption in year of 2022. It is recommended the five ways that citizens and government can
make progress in fighting against corruption.
INTRODUCTION
Corruption is one of the most serious and dangerous social threats that directly affect the
countries stability, security, political, economic, and social system. Philippines corrruption
damaging to the countries reputation and has created obstacles to local and foreign direct
investment, flows to the stock market, global competitiveness distorted the development and
upliftment of our people.
BODY
The problem of corruption is not only here in the Philippines but also most of the countries in
the world for the longest time. In recent year, Asia-Pacific report democracy has been declining
in the region, including some of the populous countries in the world, India (43) Philippines (33)
and Bangladesh (23) points.
Philippines corruption reduces access to education from pre-school to university. It creates lowquality learning environments, where the poor suffer the most, and undermines our collective
welfare. It erodes the foundation of quality education for urpose of this report is to inhibition
the corruption happening in Philippines system, it really cause a lot in the daily life of every
filipino.
METHODOLOGY
This research was conducted an investigation, this data information is taken from other
international organization such as the World Bank, World Economic Forum, private consulting
companies and think tanks.
RESULT
According to Corruption Perception Index (CPI) the Philippines scored 33 points out of 100. It
can be seen clearly in table 1 in a year of 2022 to 2014 we still of those countries faced
corruption.

Philippines was rank 116 in term of being least corrupt, this means we are almost on the
numeber one-third of the most corrot country based one the Corruption Perception Index (CPI)
published by transparency International. However, Corruption Perception Index reflect the view
of expert or survey of business people on a number of corrupt behavioral in public sector.
CONCLUSION
Philippines corrruption, financial investment dispute often take unneccessarily long period of
time due to staffing storage, lack of resources, and Corruption in the system."Corruption made
countries poor. The economies grew, but wealth did not permeate downwards. The well-being
of the population did not improve’" says Armando Lara. Corruption has been around for a very
long time and will be around in the future unless government can figure out effective ways to
combat it.
It is recommended the five ways to that citizens and government can make progress in the fight
against corruption.
