3. Just as we did in class, calculate your scores for the core job characteristics. Enter your
scores in Column B of Table 2 on the page after next. Calculate your motivating potential
score (MPS). Enter your MPS in Column B of Table 2 on the page after next.
4. Make recommendations to increase your scores (or maintain your scores if your score is 7
out of 7). Enter your recommendations in Column C of Table 2 on the page after next.
Write in full sentences. Your recommendations should be specific, detailed, and realistic.
Your completed table can be longer than one page. You can use whichever font size or
formatting you like.
