Question 4
We were surprised by the lack of resources available on sign
language. There are many resources available on spoken languages.
This made it difficult to find accurate and up-to-date information on
sign language grammar, vocabulary, and culture.
There are over 300 different sign languages in the world, and each
one has its unique grammar and vocabulary. This made it difficult to
create a short film that would be accessible to a wide audience.
We learned a lot about the importance of communication and
accessibility. We realized that many people who are deaf or hard of
hearing face challenges in communicating with others. Our short film
was an attempt to raise awareness of these challenges and to
promote accessibility for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
