CTPAT Compliance Procedure:
Objective:
The objective of this procedure is to establish the necessary policies and practices to
ensure compliance with the requirements of the CTPAT program and strengthen the
security of our company's supply chain.
Responsibilities: President and Vice President of Operations
Top Management: Warehouse Manager
Commit to CTPAT compliance.
Designate a compliance team.
Review and approve changes to the procedure.
Compliance Team:
Coordinate the implementation and maintenance of the CTPAT program.
Conduct risk assessments and periodic updates.
Ensure effective communication with CBP and other relevant parties.
Operational Staff:
Adhere to established procedures and policies for CTPAT.
Report any security incidents or procedure violations.
Procedure Steps:
1. Risk Assessment:
Conduct a risk assessment of the supply chain to identify potential threats.
Document and classify identified vulnerabilities.
2. Development of Policies and Procedures:
Create specific policies and procedures to address identified vulnerabilities.
Ensure procedures align with CTPAT requirements.
3. Staff Training:
Implement a training program for all relevant staff.
Provide information on CTPAT policies and procedures.
Ensure staff is kept up-to-date on best practices and changes in CTPAT requirements.
4. Implementation of Security Measures:
Apply physical security and access control measures at all relevant facilities.
Establish processes for cargo inspection and verification of product integrity.
5. Verification of Business Partners:
Conduct due diligence to verify compliance of business partners.
Maintain records of these verifications.
6. Internal Audits:
Conduct periodic internal audits to assess CTPAT compliance.

7. Communication with CBP:
