ABSTRACT
Ahmed, a 28-year-old, experiences an unexpected turn of events on his birthday when he
rushes home at his wife Rafiya's request. The celebration takes an unsettling turn as his
childhood friends, Moiz, Shaheer, and Fareed, resurface with hurtful remarks and mockery
about his life. The night unfolds with Ahmed feeling increasingly humiliated, culminating in
a moment of intense frustration when even his wife playfully uses a childhood pet name,
triggering a cascade of haunting flashbacks. As the shadows of the past resurface, Ahmed
grapples with the emotional turmoil of confronting old wounds and the challenge of
reconciling his present happiness with lingering scars from the past.

One day, while working late in his office, Ahmed receives a call from his wife asking him to come
home early for a surprise dinner. When he arrives, he discovers the house dark, calls go unanswered,
and upon entering, he is greeted with a surprise birthday celebration. This sets the stage for
unexpected events.
Rising Action:
During the celebration, Ahmed encounters childhood friends who used to mock him with the pet
name "kakri." These friends resurface and continue to use the hurtful name. Later in the event, they
publicly make fun of Rafiya, implying she married Ahmed for his wealth. Ahmed's brother gives
him a desired gift, and his friends mock his brother's appearance. The tension rises as Ahmed serves

3.3 SYNOPSIS
A guy Ahmed from a very respectful who is living an ideal life with all the comfort one
desires with his wife Rafiya, Ahmed's parents have died leaving him a big chunk of their
inheritance, as Ahmed's birth day arrives Rafiya throws a surprise party for his husband, she
goes out of her way and calls Ahmed’s childhood friends who were once close to him,
throughout the event they make him do things that make Ahmed feel disrespected as right if
the bat when they meet his friend makes him remind of his childhood pet name "kakri" in
front of the whole social setting they make comments about his status his wife and his only
big brother, the friends put him through situations that cause him mental distress, to the point
Ahmed gets triggered where he doesn't know what to do. The real disaster starts when his
wife jumps into the bandwagon and it becomes a battle between him and his mind

CHAPTER# 4 PRE PRODUCTION
4.1 SCRIPT
INT. AHMED’S OFFICE. NIGHT
Ahmed a 26 year old tall guy with a slight beard and built
wearing a grey button and a black pant sitting in his office
there is no one in the office as he is collecting his files and
putting them on the side his phone rings and the name "wifey"
pops up its his wife rafiya (a 24 old woman with dark hair fair
tone sharp features) ahmed picks the call
AHMED
hello?
RAFIYA
ahmed yar aap kub ayengay
late horahe hain dinner ke
liye kubse wait kar rahi hun
AHMED
yaar bss wind up hi kar raha tha
nikal raha hun bss
RAFIYA
theek hai
Ahmed takes off the phone from his ear and the call ends.
INT. AHMED’S HOUSE.NIGHT
Ahmed pulls up the car outside of his house, he looks at the
house and the lights are out he gets suspicious, he gets out of
the car and walk ups the house he rings the bell door once no
one answers he does it againg no one answers its the thrid time
no one answers again he calls his wife she doesnt picks up his
call Ahmed tries to find the keys in his laptop bag he takes
out the key and opens the gate
as he is entering there is utter silence and darkness ahmed gets
scared as he is entering
"surprise"
everybody shouts as the lights open Ahmed sees everyone he gets
happy
his wife greets him
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY"
everyone congratulates Ahmed he smiles and hugs everyone
there his wife asks him
CONTINUED:

mera surprise ? (happily) ahmed smiles
and says

ahmed sees his friends from afar moiz ( a 27 year old
tall brown bearded guy) and shaheer (a 26 year old
chubby friend) he walks up to them saying

in surprise he gets happy to see his friends and he first hugs
moiz and then when he hugs Shaheer Moiz says
MOIZ
arey Kakri tu tw bilkul fit hogia
hai yar mast body wody bana li hai tunay while
touching his bicep, Ahmed gets slighlty uncomfortable
as he feels that someone suddenly taps his shoulder from
behinf Ahmed turns around and its there other friend Fareed
Ahmed gets happy to see him he hugs him

AHMED arey nahi

they all go upstairs on the roof where the actual birthday setup
is everybody is busy mingling with each other
INT. AHMED’S ROOF TOP .NIGHT
Ahmed’s wife makes an annoucement to gather everyone up to cut
ahmed’s cake
Ahmed turns around looking at her smiling his friends also
look around
MOIZ
yaar wesay eik baat tw hai banday ke pas
paise hoon tw aisi biwi mil hi jati hai
chahe khud kesa bhi hou
SHAHEER
haan yaar ahmed tera theek hai

Moiz and Shaheer high five eachother laughing
ahmed has a straight face he stares them both as his wife
interrupts him and says
RAFIYA
ajayen bhae sub intezar kar rahe
hain cake kaatna hai
Ahmed smiles and walks up to the table set up where the cake
is, Ahmeds big brother amjad (a 38 years old man with salt
and pepper beard) enters he joins Ahmed hugs him and greets him
AMJAD saalgirah
mubarak hou
AHMED shukriya
bhai
amjad and ahmed’s wife rafiya stand next to ahmed
ahmed picks up the butter knife to cut the cake and he zones out
for a few seconds staring at the cake he get lost the voices
around him echo in his head suddenly ahmed’s brother says
AMJAD arey bhae
kaato na cake
ahmed comes back to his senses and cuts the cake he picks up
the slice and gives a bite to his wife and his brother he then
takes a bite himself
FAREED humein bhi khilade bhae
khud hi khaega kia
Ahmed smiles
AHMED arey
haan haan
he walks up to his friends and gives a bite to each moiz shaheer
and fareed
INT. AHMED’S ROOFTOP. NIGHT
Ahmed is mingling with the group of his friends his brother
comes up and calls his name Ahmed turns around amjad takes out
a small box and opens it, its a watch
ahmed gets really happy seeing that watch that he hugs brother
AMJAD yehi wali thi na jo tumhe
chahiye thi ahmed looking at the watch his eyes are
wide open
AHMED jee bhai
(smilling)
AMJAD aur bhae
milwaogay nahi apnay doston se
AHMED jee bhai ye
moiz, shaheer aur fareed hain
meray school mein parhtay thy

MOIZ
apko dekh ke tw laga hi nahin aap
isske bhai hain aisa laga jaise cake
katnay ke baat khutbay ka bhi
intezaam hai.
amjad smiles awkwardly and looks at ahmed, he is embarrased
rafiya joins and says
RAFIYA acha bhae khana
lag gaya hai sab ajayen aur koe
takaluf nahi karna apna ghar samjh
ke khana hai
ahmed amjad and raafiya leave his friends everybody is busy
talking to eachother
ahmed takes out food and is eating from his plate standing while
talking to two other man

moiz sees ahmed and calls out his name infront of everyone

ahmed looks at him and walks up to him with his plate

moiz proceeds to take the plate full of food from his hands as
he is chewing the morsel in his mouth Ahmed stopes and stares
as he does that
SHAHEER abey bhae iska tw
hogia mujhe bhi lakar de na kuch
ahmed gets pissed off as he goes to get food for shaheer he
stops and sees the plates in his hands and feels like a waiter
as he brings 3 plates of food to shaheer
he sits there with his hands crossed in anger and silence watches
his friends eat
ahmed and his wife are seeing everybody off ahmed doesnt seem
to be happy
INT. AHMED’S BEDROOM .NIGHT
ahmed and his wife are in there room ahmed is taking of his
watch and his wife is taking her earrings off looking in the
mirror of the dressing table she smiles looking in the mirror
and she calls
RAFIYA kakri?
giggles
ahmed looks at her seriously
RAFIYA moiz bata raha tha
eik school mein apne principal se
itna dar gaye thy ke apne apni pant
geeli kardi itnay darpok thy ap
bachpan mei? giggles again
ahmed gets up from the bed angrily and he slams the door as he
gets out of the room

INT. AHMED’S HOUSE .NIGHT
ahmed is walking in the lounge in anger
he goes into the other room turn on the lamp placed on the desk
he sees a complete mess on the table he slides everything on
the ground from the table and sit in the chair covering his face
with his palm he sighs in frustration
he gets flashbacks of the constant disrespect from the event
earlier he seems to have no control on his mind he pulls his
hair from the head while grunting with eyes scrunched up
he then opens his eyes and and looks at the stuff he just
threw on the ground ahmed sees a note book he picks it up
and takes a moment
he picks up a pen from the ground ahmed opens the notebooks and
aggressively scribbles on it such that the pages tear
he puts his head down on the table and thinks with his eyes open
he accidently falls asleep
INT. AHMED’S HOUSE .MORNING
ahmed wake up at the same place he looks at the pen in his hand
he fidgets with it for a moment, he sets his head up from the
table and starts writing on the notebook
he writes a name on the top of the paper and draws a two columns
he starts writing good and bad traits about that person after
writing he gets a moment of realization as if he had a moment
of awakening and he sighs in relief
4.2 THREE ACT STRUCTURE
ACT 1:
SET UP:
Ahmed’s birthday party.
Inciting Incident: Ahmed gets the surprise arranged by his wife Rafiya where he meets his
old friends in school and right of the bat his friend calls him “Kakri” in front of the guests.
PLOT POINT: Ahmed’s friends Moiz and Shaheer belittle Ahmed at his own event by
portraying Ahmed’s wife a gold digger and that she is only with Ahmed because of his
money.
ACT 2:
RISING ACTION:
Ahmed gets treated like a servant at his birthday party by his friends as they put him in such
a situation that he has to serve them food despite the buffet setup.
PLOT POINT (DISASTER):
Ahmed is upset about the behavior of his friends in the party now he is in his room with his
wife as they are unwinding his wife jokingly mocks him with the pet name his friends called
him by which caused him embarrassment.
ACT 3:
CRISIS:
Ahmed has a complete breakdown he doesn’t know how to cope up with all the disrespect
and embarrassment that has happened he is frustrated and angry and is throwing things on
the floor.
RESOLUTION:
It’s the next the he accidently sleeps where he was sitting he does an activity where he writes
the name of the person and there traits after the activity he gets a moment of realization as if
he had a moment of awakening and he sighs in relief his mind which was on war is now at
peace
4.3 SCREEN PLAY
INT. AHMED’S CAR DRIVING. NIGHT

Everybody shouts as the lights open Ahmed sees everyone he
gets happy
His wife greets him
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY"
Everyone congratulates Ahmed he smiles and hugs everyone there
and Ahmed smiles.
Ahmed sees his friends from afar Moiz (a 27 year old tall
brown bearded guy) and Shaheer (a 26 year old chubby friend)
he walks up to them. In surprise he gets happy to see his
friends and he first hugs Moiz and then when he hugs Shaheer
Moiz while touching his bicep, Ahmed gets slightly
uncomfortable. As he feels that someone suddenly taps his
shoulder from behind Ahmed turns around and it’s there other
friend Fareed.
Ahmed gets happy to see him he hugs him.
They all go upstairs on the roof where the actual birthday
setup is everybody is busy mingling with each other.
INT. AHMED’S ROOF TOP .NIGHT
Ahmed’s wife makes an announcement to gather everyone up to
cut Ahmed’s cake
Ahmed turns around looking at her smiling his friends also
look around
Moiz and Shaheer high five each other laughing
Ahmed has a straight face he stares them both as his wife
interrupts him and
Ahmed smiles and walks up to the table set up where the cake
is, Ahmed’s big brother Amjad (a 38 years old man with salt
And pepper beard) enters he joins Ahmed hugs him and greets
him
Amjad and Ahmed’s wife Rafiya stand next to Ahmed
Ahmed picks up the butter knife to cut the cake and he zones
out for a few seconds staring at the cake he get lost the
voices around him echo in his head suddenly Ahmed’s brother
Ahmed comes back to his senses and cuts the cake he picks up
the slice and gives a bite to his wife and his brother he
then takes a bite himself Ahmed smiles
He walks up to his friends and gives a bite to each Moiz
Shaheer and Fareed
INT. AHMED’S ROOFTOP. NIGHT
Ahmed is mingling with the group of his friends his brother
comes up and calls his name Ahmed turns around Amjad takes
out a small box and opens it, it’s a watch
Ahmed gets really happy seeing that watch that he hugs
Brother
Ahmed looking at the watch his eyes are wide open
dialogues Amjad smiles awkwardly and looks at Ahmed, he is
embarrassed Rafiya joins
Ahmed Amjad and Rafiya leave his friends everybody is busy
talking to each other
Ahmed takes out food and is eating from his plate standing
while talking to two other man Moiz sees Ahmed and calls out
his name in front of everyone Ahmed looks at him and walks up
to him with his plate
Moiz proceeds to take the plate full of food from his hands
as he is chewing the morsel in his mouth Ahmed stopes and
stares as he does that
Ahmed gets pissed off as he goes to get food for Shaheer he
stops and sees the plates in his hands and feels like a
waiter as he brings 3 plates of food to Shaheer
He sits there with his hands crossed in anger and silence
watches his friends eat
Ahmed and his wife are seeing everybody off Ahmed doesn’t
seem to be happy
INT. AHMED’S BEDROOM .NIGHT
Ahmed and his wife are in there room Ahmed is taking of his
watch and his wife is taking her earrings off looking in the
mirror of the dressing table she smiles looking in the mirror
Ahmed looks at her seriously
Ahmed gets up from the bed angrily and he slams the door as
he gets out of the room
INT. AHMED’S HOUSE .NIGHT
Ahmed is walking in the lounge in anger
He goes into the other room turn on the lamp placed on the
desk he sees a complete mess on the table he slides
everything on the ground from the table and sit in the chair
covering his face with his palm he sighs in frustration
he gets flashbacks of the constant disrespect from the event
earlier he seems to have no control on his mind he pulls his
hair from the head while grunting with eyes scrunched up
He then opens his eyes and and looks at the stuff he just
threw on the ground Ahmed sees a note book he picks it up
and takes a moment
He picks up a pen from the ground Ahmed opens the notebooks
and aggressively scribbles on it such that the pages tear
He puts his head down on the table and thinks with his eyes
open he accidently falls asleep
INT. AHMED’S HOUSE .MORNING
Ahmed wake up at the same place he looks at the pen in his
hand he fidgets with it for a moment, he sets his head up
from the table and starts writing on the notebook
He writes a name on the top of the paper and draws a two
columns he starts writing good and bad traits about that
person after writing he gets a moment of realization as if he
had a moment of awakening and he sighs in relief.
4.4 FILM TREATMENT
ACT 1: SETUP
INT. AHMED’S OFFICE – NIGHT
Ahmed, a 26-year-old professional, is working late. He receives a call from his wife, Rafiya,
urging him to come home for dinner. Ahmed leaves, setting the stage for a birthday surprise.
INT. AHMED’S HOUSE – NIGHT
Ahmed arrives home to a dark house, his suspicion growing. To his surprise, the lights
suddenly come on, revealing a birthday celebration organized by Rafiya and friends.
Despite initial happiness, Ahmed senses tension among his friends.
INT. AHMED’S ROOF TOP – NIGHT
Ahmed's friends make sarcastic remarks about his physique during the cake cutting
ceremony, which leaves Ahmed uncomfortable. The act ends with an unsettling feeling at
the celebration.
ACT 2: RISING TENSIONS
INT. AHMED’S HOUSE – NIGHT
Ahmed serves dinner to his friends, who mockingly ask him to feed them. Feeling like a
waiter, Ahmed serves in silence, and tensions rise.
INT. AHMED’S BEDROOM – NIGHT
Back in the bedroom, Rafiya teases Ahmed about a school incident involving his friend
Moiz. Ahmed, irritated, storms out, leaving Rafiya confused.
INT. AHMED’S HOUSE – NIGHT
In a fit of frustration, Ahmed enters another room and creates a mess. He starts scribbling in
a notebook and accidentally falls asleep, foreshadowing the unraveling mental state.
ACT 3: UNRAVELING
INT. AHMED’S HOUSE – MORNING
Ahmed wakes up surrounded by the mess he created. He starts writing traits about someone
in a notebook. His emotions escalate, leading to a moment of realization. The act ends with
Ahmed sighing in relief.
ACT 4: RESOLUTION
INT. AHMED’S HOUSE – DAY
Ahmed reflects on the events and decides to confront his feelings. He engages in a heartfelt
conversation with Rafiya, expressing his concerns about friends and their disrespectful
behavior.
