IIM Sirmaur is a third-generation IIM that came into existence in 2015. So far, six
batches of MBA students have graduated from IIM Sirmaur. It is located in the foothills
of the Himalayas and is naturally blessed with a moderate climate with minimum air
pollution and excellent air connectivity. There are two airports – Dehradun and
Chandigarh, which connect you to Sirmaur.
IIM Sirmaur offers two full-time programmes – Master of Business Administration
(General Management) and Master of Business Administration Tourism in its
state-of-the-art campus with all modern facilities and a class-defining infrastructure.
IIM Sirmaur is poised for a quantum jump. We aspire to be among the top 15 B-Schools

weekend programme that is equivalent to an MBA degree programme custom

Pedagogy
The programme's pedagogy will incorporate a diverse mix of teaching methodologies,
including lectures, case discussions, project work, term papers, role-plays, seminar
presentations, assignments, management games, and simulations.
Programme Delivery
The Executive MBA Programmes are offered through an interactive learning mode,
allowing participants to pursue their management education and professional
development alongside their work. The programmes are designed by the Indian
Institute of Management Sirmaur, and the classes are conducted by faculty members
from an interactive learning studio located at the IIM Sirmaur Campus.
Currently, Executive MBA Programmes are delivered through the technology platform
of TimesPro. Participants can choose their preferred learning center to attend the
examinations. The technology effectively communicates ideas and interact with
participants.

Campus Immersion (Optional)
Two campus immersion modules of 3 days each (optional) at IIM Sirmaur campus.
The in-campus modules are subject to the conditions that prevail at that point in time. These
conditions pertain to the pandemic or other unavoidable reasons. In case the on-campus
module is not confirmed, the same will be included in the total number of online sessions.

• Mid- to senior-level managers, entrepreneurs, business owners, C-Suite aspirants
Eligibility Criteria
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent (10+2+3) with a minimum of 50% marks or
equivalent CGPA with a minimum of 3 years of full-time post-qualification
managerial/professional experience at the time of application.
• Score of IIM Sirmaur Ex-MBA test
Admission Criteria
• Based on the valid qualifying scores of the
candidates shall be shortlisted for a Personal
Interview.
• Offer of admission shall be made based on the
composite score obtained along with the various
parameters of selection (Qualifying test score, PI,
Academic and professional profile).
Attendance Criteria
A minimum of 75% attendance is a prerequisite for
the successful completion of the programme.
Assessment & Evaluation
There will be periodic evaluations built throughout
the programme at regular intervals. These may be in
the form of quizzes, assignments, case studies,
projects, written tests, online exams, or other
objective/subjective assessments. Examination/
evaluation shall be conducted by the institute.

IDs. The IIM Sirmaur Alumni portal is a common platform for Alumni of all

Institute.

Dr. Prafulla Agnihotri holds a Master’s Degree in
Management Studies (M.M.S.) from the University of
Mumbai and Ph.D. in International Marketing Strategy
area from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management
Studies, Mumbai. Before joining IIM Sirmaur, he was
associated with Indian Institute of Management (IIM)
Calcutta as Professor of Marketing. He was also the
founder Director of IIM Trichy.
Prof. Prafulla
Agnihotri
He has over thirty years’ experience in the industry - in
sales, marketing and training as well as academics. He
was also a visiting faculty with Euromed, Marseille
Provence (an EQUIS Certified B-school), and CERAM,
Sophia Antipolis, France. He has co-authored a book
titled Principles of Marketing with Philip Kotler and Gary
Armstrong.
Dr. Karthikeyan Balakumar is a Ph.D. in Marketing from
IIM Calcutta. He has a PGDM from IIM Trichy and has also
Secured the Gold Medal for Academic proficiency in
Marketing from there. His research interests are:

Dr. Alka Chadha completed her doctorate in Economics
from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Masters in
Economics from Delhi School of Economics and B.A. (Hons)
Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University.
Before becoming a part of the IIM Sirmaur family, she was
working as an Adjunct faculty at IIM Sambalpur and
full-time faculty at IIM Trichy. She also has international
work experience of working at the NUS Business School,
National University of Singapore and S.P Jain Centre of
Global Management, Singapore Campus.
Her
teaching
interests
include
Microeconomics,
Macroeconomics and Game Theory, she is the author of the
book “Game Theory for Managers: Doing Business in a
Strategic World”. Her research areas include Innovation,
Internationalization, Servicification and FDI. She has
published her work in international refereed journals
including World Development, Industrial and Corporate
Change, Economic Modelling, Scientometrics and Applied
Economics.
Shashi Kant Srivastava is a faculty in IT & Systems at the
Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur, India. He received
his FPM (Ph.D.) from the Indian Institute of Management
Indore, India. His current research interests include
blockchain technology, multi-criteria decision making,
artificial intelligence, business analytics, and information
economics. His papers have appeared in Communications
of the Association for Information Systems (CAIS), Journal of
Information Technology Theory and Application (JITTA),
Information Technology for Development (ITD), Journal of
Global Information Technology Management (JGITM),
International Journal of Business Intelligence Research
(IJBIR), International Journal of Knowledge Management
(IJKM), Journal of International Technology and Information

Prof. Rinki
Dahiya
Dr. Rinki Dahiya has a Ph.D. from Department of
Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology
Roorkee, M.Com from MDU, Rohtak, PGDBA from SCDL,
Pune, and B.Com from University of Delhi. Her doctoral work
examined the role of workplace forgiveness and
organizational trust in the happiness of employees. Her
board areas of research interest include positive
organizational behavior and its correlates. She has
published various research papers and book chapter with
reputed publishers like Springer, Sage and Emerald, and
presented research papers in national and international
conferences both in India and abroad. She is a reviewer of
various international journals such as Evidence based HRM,
Current Psychology, International Journal of Organizational
Analysis, and Journal of Happiness Studies. Her areas of
teaching interests are organizational behavior, human
resource management, talent management, self and
interpersonal
dynamics,
critical
thinking
and
communication
for
managers
and
performance
management. She is also a permanent member of Indian
Society for Training and Development (ISTD), New Delhi.
Prior to Ph. D, she worked in industry for around 4 years.
