Sequential Batch Reactor process.
The SBR process is a Fill & Draw,
Variable State, Activated Sludge
Process where all the operations of
Equalization, Aeration, and
Sedimentation happens in a single
tank or basin, in a time sequence
rather than space sequence.The
upgraded SBR process also removes
nutrients from the waste water.

QUALICOM SOLUTIONS (P) LTD
The sewage passes through a Bar screen before entering the Primary chamber
from where the waste water is loaded to the main reactor. The treatment
sequences in reactor of the Nano Digestors are :
1. Aerated Fill : The primary Inuent is drawn into the main reactor with the help
of air lift process where the water is sucked through a manifold and pushed
by air from blower into the reactor tank. A thorough mixing and aeration of
sewage is also achieved in the process.
2. React : Microbial reactions are initiated and completed during this phase by
pumping air into the system through ne bubble diffusers.
3. Settle : The solid separation takes place under quiescent conditions i.e., no
inow no outow.
4. Decant : The supernatant clear water is taken out of the reactor, again by air
lift process,for subsequent disinfection,disposal or reuse.
5. Idle & Desludging : The period between Decant and next Fill is termed Idle.
During this time some sludge settled inside the reactor is airlifted back to the
primary in uent tank.
The entire operations are automated by a PLC based control system.
