Schedule of the Dry Run Activities: August 05, 2020
District: BOBON
Position: Principal II
A. SPECIFIC SCHEMES ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE DRY RUN ACTIVITIES
a. Before
 Teachers were oriented about the Learning Modality the Division will use
which is Modular Learning for the SY: 2020-2021 during the Cluster 2 District
Conference last July 29, 2020.
 Conducted Parents’ Orientation about the modular learning approach on
August 04, 2020.
 Information dissemination and tapped the Barangay Officials in all barangay
the school catered for possible usage of the Barangay Halls as the Drop off
point.
 The School prepared printed modules, activity sheets, drop boxes, envelops,
sanitary materials and others needed for the dry run activities.
b. During
 Activity sheets and modules were packed inside a plastic envelop with the
corresponding name of the student and the address which were picked up
by the parents or relatives with the age 22 years and above observing the
IATF protocols (NO students can pick up his/her module).
 Parents checked the learning pack if they are the correct name of their
child and if it contains the right number of modules and activity sheets for
all learning areas.
 Teacher advised parents that they are not the one who will answer the
module it must be the students they are tasked to guide.
c. After
 Retrieval of the learning packs was processed in each drop off point strictly
adhering to health protocols.
 Disinfection of the learning packs was done for two days and the activity
sheets and modules were checked by the subject teachers. The School
Principal validated the result of corrected self-learning modules and activity
sheets.
 Questions and feedback from the parents and the community was answered
by the Teachers and the School Principal.
 The School developed strategies and interventions based on the challenges
encountered during the dry run.
B. ISSUES AND CONCERNS ON THE CONDUCT OF THE DRY RUN

Facilitators of the activity strictly adhered
to the health protocol, i.e., all participants
body temperature was checked, wearing
of face mask, hand sanitation and social
distancing.
Explained to parents that there is a time
of pickup and delivery to avoid
congestions in the drop off points and to
strictly adhere to social distancing, this is
to prevent the spread of COVID 19.
Anyone could teach the child even the
older sibling.

Yes it can be done but making sure to
check the name on the envelop and it’s
a first come first serve basis.

A drop off point was assigned in
different Barangays.

POINTS TO PONDER/ RECOMMENDATIONS/ SUGGESTIONS
 In every drop off point a teacher will be assigned to facilitate the
delivery and retrieval of modules and activity sheets. Delivery day
will be every Monday and retrieval will be on Friday. The Drop off
Centers and teacher assigned were the following: for students
residing in Brgy. Jose P. Laurel, Brgy. Jose Abad Santos, Brgy.
Acereda, Brgy. Guba and Brgy. Bocsol parents will pick up the
modules at AIS lobby and assigned teachers to facilitate were
Marlu Tingzon, Michael Sagorio and Maria April Rosete. For
Brgy. Trojillo,the assigned drop off and pickup area is at the
Barangay Hall, with Rhea Alo and JacquelouDosal as the
facilitators; for the Brgy. E. Duran and Sitio Casapinitan the
drop off center is at the Casapinitan Elementary School with
assigned teachers, Hezl Valerie Arzadon, May Robiños and
Janine Mendador. The day and time of pick up is Monday and


the retrieval is on Friday, strictly following the time scheduled
each grade level; for Grade 7 the time is 8-9 in the morning,
Grade 8 the time is 9-10, Grade 9 the time is 10-11 and for
Grade 10, the time is 11-12.
Parents were reminded to not let their children write anything on
the modules as they will be given a separate answer sheet, and
there should be a study time established in the household for a
strong foundation of their study habit. Anyone can guide the
student in accomplishing the task assigned in the modules if
students are having difficulty they would need to reach out to
the teacher so teacher could schedule a visit.
Parent will be reprimanded if found out that child abuse is
present in a household and the school will seek attention from
the authorities.
D. BEST PRACTICES/ INITIATIVES
BEST PRACTICES/INITIATIVES
 Encouraged parents and anyone that they know to take advantage of this modular
learning approach to enrol for this school year.
 Established a communication platform between parents and teachers of Acereda
Integrated School thru facebook and text messages for comments, suggestions and
for their feedback.
 Teachers were in PPE in retrieving modules, disinfecting learning packs by spraying
alcohol, putting learning packs under the sun and using of hair dryer to kill any virus.
 An action plan was formulated if a child was having difficulty answering the module,
the teacher assigned will conduct a tutorial will highly observe the IATF protocol.
 Teachers purchased radio and other technological equipment that they can use
during the learning delivery.’
 Strengthen the parents, teachers and school relationship as they will be working
collaboratively in delivering learning to the children.
