The water feature is a good additon to any house, but with all things it has its advantages and
disadvantages.
The water feature has many advantages, first of all it looks magnificent, it adds to any houses beauty to
make it stand out and innovative, furthermore many of the most well known structures utilized these to
get the fame they have today. Another advantage is that it cools the area around it using the fact that the
evaporating water has a cooling effect to it, this is because as cool evaporated water goes around it
affects the surrounding area causing it to become cooler. This also has the added advantage of making
passerbuys and the family forget about the heat of the country and become more comfortable when in
the house. It maya also increase the selling price of the house, if it ever comes the time to sell it, as people
looking to buy the house will see the fountain as a good place to increase the price.
Although with everything it has its limitations. Firstly this will cost a lot of money to run, from the
payment of the fountains to run everyday, paying to do maintainance on the water, and even paying to
build the structure in the first place, these costs will add up making it a giant investment, that will
probably not be earned back by the fountain. But that is not the only thing as there are also its
implications for the enviroment. Such as the electricty for charging up the fountain everyday being a
source of greenhouse gas, and the massive amounts of water vapour acting as an even larger green house
gas causing it to contribute to global warming.
In conclusion, the fountain is a great idea, as it can act as a beutiful part of the home and make the
surrounding area cooler. But before investing in the fountain it must be considered that the water
features will become very costly to maintain,and it will also act as a greenhouse gas. Although in the end
will still be a good part of your home as a cooler and decoration.
