SCENARIO
Employability Skills can be defined as the transferable skills needed by an individual to
make them ‘employable’. Along with good technical understanding and subject
knowledge, employers often outline a set of skills that they want from an employee.
These skills are what they believe will equip the employee to carry out their role to the
best of their ability. Employability depends on your knowledge, skills and attitudes, how
you use those assets, and how you present them to employers. So you need to demonstrate
your understanding of them by completing the following tasks.
Task 1 (P1.1,P1.2, M1.3 and M2.1):
A. Mention the meaning of SWOT analysis and Major benefits of Personal SWOT
analyses (P1.1),
B. By using SWOT analysis worksheet, identify internal and external factors that
affect strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to any example you choose,
to achieve the SWOT matrix. (P1.2)
C. After applied SWOT analysis to example you choose , create action plan using life
of wheel chart and fish bone diagram technique to:
-Take advantage of strengths.
-Overcome or minimize weaknesses.
-Utilize some of your opportunities.
-Overcome to threats.
Taking in your mind the goals and objectives for your plane.
