By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to ask about others using negative statements and questions
with the verb be; ss also will be able to use vocabulary for name age, country, origin and likes.
Ss have learnt some basic English vocabulary to understand the teacher
Ss may use their phones, may get bored, may get absent, levels may be different,
T sets simple rules, T remembers all names, T engages everyone, T changes places, includes activities,
changes interaction patterns, rewards, uplifting background music, contest, physical exercisers, etc.
Procedure
Waiting for ss to come
Teacher welcomes ss and introduces himself
Student say his name, then the next s says his name of the one
before him
Play this names game again; this time s says his name and
names of the ones before him (preferably using a doll or ball)
The Cloud:
Teacher draws a cloud and includes his simple personal details:
name, Oujda, photography, 23.
Teacher encourages ss to guess what the words refer to.
Teacher asks ss to draw their own cloud
Teacher asks ss to stand up and talk with a partner.
