Science:The overall midterm test result was pretty satisfying. Amy, Jaydon and Neil got full mark. Diana, Victor, Eric James F,
and Kira did really well as well. Kira was the one that surprised me the most as she was distracted most of the time in class.
Cancan, Sonmi, Nancy, Myssica and Lucky however showed a decline in their performance. The drastic decline was specially
seen from Cancan and Sonmi. I personally noticed Sonmi who was most of the time distracted during the class, she used to
do a great work previously.
Homework: 1.Preview the article on page 44 and 43. 2. Translate the difficult words.
Social Science: Pleased with the results this week. It’s clear that quite a few students learned quite a bit about the Aztecs
and prepared for exam very well. Jaydon, Amy, Neil, Diana, Jennifer, and Victor did really well. Quite a high standard in this
class. Keep it up.
Literature: Mid-term test showed far more application than previous tests and Kevin, Jaydon and Amy submitted excellent
papers. Emily and Sophie got lower grades and they need to refocus for the rest of the semester.

Writing:
Weekly Objective: MIdterm
Students: The students who did exceptionally well are Amy, Nancy, Diana, Dylan, Selena, Hardy, Kira and Jaydon. The
students who did poorly are James Wang, Mysicca, Emily and Jennifer. The rest of the class is making modest improvements
with their writing.
Homework: Do transition words worksheet.
