Please accept this letter as an expression of interest in the position, Monitoring and
Evaluation Officer, as advertised available at your organisation. I am a highly motivated,
dependable, hardworking, resilient and progress-focused Project Planning, Management
and Community Development scholar and personnel, with an outstanding potential in
this profession. I am currently working as a data officer at the USAID Afya-Yangu
project, where I have forth-grown my devised strategic initiatives, and gained a
comprehensive understanding in the collection, management, analysis, verification and
reporting of data based on key indicators for performance. I believe, my relevant skills
and experience gained will prove valuable in improving service quality and impact to
meet the expected contributions towards the social dynamics and complexities involved
in working with diverse communities related to the ACHIEVE project.
I spent much of my time working in donor funded programs, as much as shown via my
attached curriculum vitae. This has made me knowledgeable and develop skills in report
and proposal writing, as well as presentation, adaptability, data analysis, team-working,
active listening, critical thinking, and creativity. Throughout my volunteering activities
also, I have perfected in data collection, analysis, micro-soft and excel use, multitasking,
report writing, decision making and strategic planning. My performance has always
been marked high and investable, as an asset to the institutions I had volunteered
working-to on a short-term basis.
Furthermore, I have a recent practical experience in Project Planning and Management
through my involvement in various community development initiatives. During my
undergraduate studies, to which I have recently finalised, I actively participated in the
SPECIAL PROJECT at Mpunguzi village, Dodoma, which aimed at improving
standard and quality of life in the marginalised communities. This experience has
allowed me to enhance my strong leadership skills, effective communication ability,
and upgrade my travelling abilities.
