This shoe pattern fits the I Can Make Shoes high heel women's lasts (reference 003). In
footwear, we use one set of patterns and simply flip them when tracing them out to
achieve left and right feet. This pattern is designed to be
used for the upper and the lining.
This pattern fits a buckle with a width of 15mm. If you are using a wider or narrower
buckle, we recommend amending the strap pattern accordingly.
You have the option between three strap lengths.
A : fits an ankle with a circumference of 22-25cm.
B : fits an ankle with a circumference of 26-29cm.
C : fits an ankle with a circumference of 30-33cm.
The pattern includes a reference for where your buckle elastic should be stitched into
your topline. Use an awl to gently mark this reference. When stitching your upper,
sandwich the buckle elastic between your upper and lining pieces and stitch in place
along the topline.
1. Print these pages at 100% and then check the pages have printed to scale by using the
scale check at the top of the pattern pages.
2. Cut out the patterns and tape together any that have been
broken up to fit on an A4 page.
3. You may notice some small V shaped notches in your patterns, these are used to
indicate the inside pieces of the patterns.
