Finland has one of the best education systems in the World. Kisakallio is a famous vocational up
per secondary education school, and we have a very unique competence combining sport and
education. In the Finnish PopUp School concept, we combine sport and education in our own,

POPUP SCHOOL THEMES
available for your choice: ”SUOMI”, ”Let’s go to the Finnish nature”, ”Finnish Design”, ”We Survivors”
and ”Science”. You choose one theme, but won’t miss on the others since elements of each are
(for example, forest, lake shore, museum, nature center, science center and classroom). You also
have a choice of choosing two themes for a 5+5 days’ PopUp School. Among the themes, “SUOMI”
theme is our “tasting menu”, where you will experience many interesting pieces of Finland.

to Nuuksio National Park and Haltia Nature Center.

Through this theme, you will learn about Finnish designers and design: architecture,
fashion, design and visual arts. Design and make art yourself. During the week, we
will visit an art exhibition.

participate in the PopUp school when order is sent. Parental participation is not possible

4. These lessons are designed for PopUp School organized in Kisakallio Finland
without Finnish students in the classroom; When PopUp school lessons
are organized in local Finnish school (not available during summer season),
school schedule will be followed, and any extra exchange programs need to
be negotiated with Finnish school, however, Chinese culture related lessons by
Chinese teachers are usually welcome.
5. Each theme consists 5 days of study, which is indivisible. If changes have to be
made, extra design fee will apply.
