SUMMARY
Objective: To determine and quantify the effects of
COVID-19 on the General Electric Engineering
supply chain and production facilities through:
• Evaluation of current raw data
• Analyzation of current value stream map
• Research current ventilator market trend
As per the current data, the demand for ventilators
will continue to be high and is forecasted to spike at
any point.
DATA ANALYSIS
Demand started to increase on Quarter 2 of
2019.
Forecasted figures found to be flat but
proven otherwise.
502 was the lowest demand for ventilators
Highest demand was 10192.

MAP FINDINGS
1. Supplier drop off times must
be guarded as to avoid raw
materials wasted (already
paid for)
2. The inventory rate between
the gas accumulator &
monitor assembly must be
looked closely as it serves
room for higher wastage rate.
3. Gas accumulator has the
highest staff number  they
should be divided all around
the factory as to prevent
waste of time
