I would like to introduce myself as _______. I am from , India. My father is an ————-& my
mother is a Housewife I have three sibling brother & sisters who is currently studying in
India.
I have completed my secondary education from the Board of School Education, Haryana in
the year 2012 and completed my senior secondary education from the same board in the
year 2014. After that, I have completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from
Chandigarh University. After completing my graduation I have decided to pursue my higher
education on international level. I also appear for IELTS exam on 26th October 2019 and I
have scored overall —-bands. Now I have applied for the program Construction Engineering
Technician in St. Clair College, Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
I have always aspired to study something related to science, something to deal with things
existing in the world. I wanted to do something in my career that is challenging, interesting
and practical. Dealing with technology and building infrastructure for mankind is extremely
satisfying for me. It captivated me to choose Diploma in Construction Engineering, which is a
two-year
program.
With
training,
spanning,
construction
techniques,
project
implementation, quality control and inspection. Construction Engineering takes a lot of
expertise, so there is wide range of skills that I can learn after joining this program. I knew
from the time when I was very young that engineering was something that I wanted to
pursue in my life. It will give me great satisfaction to invest my time in an industry that is
enriching lives. Also, a career in engineering offers a lifetime of excellent opportunities to
progress.

As a Construction Engineering Technician, I will work with home builders and general
contractors, bid for construction work and organize and supervise the participation of the
various trades involved in a construction project. Construction management is a growing
occupation regionally, and across Canada.
Construction engineering technicians can fulfil a number of roles on the construction site.
Positions include: Site supervisor
 Junior estimator
 Survey or with general contractors
 Architectural and engineering firm
 Construction Supervisors
 Construction Engineering Technicians
 Surveying Technicians
 Estimator/Project Scheduler
 Project Manager
 Carpentry Apprenticeship
I learn that the St. Clair College is one of the largest, most diversified and highly respected
colleges in Canada. The facilities offered by the college will help me gain experience be it
social, recreational or my personal development. The program brings together to participate
from all over the world. So I would be in contact with diverse cultures. It would be very
rewarding to share and exchange of thoughts and ideas with a group of people who are
from different nationalities, culture orientations and schools of thoughts on one platform.
Construction engineering technician course is recognized by the Ontario Association of
Certified Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) allowing easier transition to certification
and increased employability in both Canada and the U.S. Also students have the opportunity
to participate in extra-curricular activities such as the Canadian national concert canoe
competition and habitat for humanity to build projects.
I have chosen Canada as it has developed a first-rate education system with higher
standards and global recognition. During my studies in India I realized that the education
level is good in India but while researching on internet I came to know that education
system in Canada is more advanced. Then I searched about the future options available in
India and Canada. While doing this, I come to know about the quality of education and
training in Canada and the increased importance of Canadian qualification internationally.
During my research I learnt that Canada not only has a great education system but students
also get firsthand experience of work during their studies.
My family is having sufficient financial savings and annual income in order to support my
overall expense in Canada. My family’s annual income is Rs.—————-which is sufficient
to cover my overall expenses in Canada. I have paid CAD $15,500.00 as my first-year tuition
fee and I have also paid living expense of $10,025 for the first year of my stay in Canada.
Lastly, being an international student I understand all student visa conditions and will abide
by all those while in Canada and will return back to my home country after completing my
chosen course within given time period. Further, as I am genuine student, meets all eligibility
criteria of being an international student, I would request you to kindly grant me Canada visa
so that I can complete my career aims.
