Activity 1: Guess me
I. Objectives
1. Distinguish organisms with one parent from organisms with two parents
2. Cite examples of organisms with one parent and two parents
3. Differentiate the offspring produced with one parent and two parents
II. Materials
Manila Paper, Pictures (given by the teacher), Scissors, Glue/Paste, Activity Sheet
III. Procedure
1. Make a group composed of eight (8) members.
2. Study the images of organisms. Guess whether the organism need one parent or two
parents to reproduce.
3. Cut out the pictures and paste it on the corresponding column.

1. What have you observed in the parents of the different offspring? Do they have the same
number of parents? Yes or No.
2. Based on your answer in Question No. 1, why do you think does it happen?
3. Does every offspring looks exactly the same like their parents? Yes or No.
4. Based on your answer in Question No. 2, why do you say so?
