Creating DSC (Data Collector Set) for WDAC BIDtrace ADO.NET
Starting Windows 8, a programmer able to log SQL statement sent by ADO.NET to the database server using
WDAC_BidTrace. WDAC is an acronym for Windows Data Access Component. And in Windows 8 and so on, a
programmer only need to create a DSC (Data Collector Set) from Control Panel – Administrator Tool – Performance
Monitor. Then at the Performance Monitor, drill down ‘Data Collector Set’ by clicking arrow, right click on ‘User
Defined’, then choose ‘New’. Choose ‘Create from a Template’.
