GENRE
Viewing genre is another type of
genre which is in a form of visual.
Meaning, something that it is seen or
viewed especially that of found in
television screen or in an internetbased programs.

1. ANIMATION
•These are the cartoons we see on screen. Inanimate
objects or drawings appear to move in motion pictures
or computer graphics. Their themes vary as well as the
target age group. Some are for toddlers, kids while
some are for teenagers.
•Examples: prinses sarah, ang munting prinsesa, mulan,
ice age etc.

2. TRAILER
• It is also known as a preview that gives
highlights of the film , features a film that
will be exhibited in the future at a cinema
usually to attract viewers to watch the
movie.

3. VARIETY SHOW
• These shows include games , dances, songs
and other performances which main purpose is
to entertain the viewers.
• Examples: ASAP, eat bulaga, pilipinas got
talent

4. EDUCATIONAL SHOW
•This show or program is highly informational and can
be intended for children, teenagers or adults.
Sometimes they come in episodes focusing on particular
theme. Some use demonstrations techniques such as
shows which instruct viewers how to make crafts, arts
etc.

5. NEWS/NEWS FLASH
• These are informative shows shown regularly to
bring relevant information on the current situation
and updates in the community, country and around
the world.

6. DOCUMENTARIES
•A non- fictional motion picture intended to
document reality primarily for the purpose of
instruction, education maintaining a factual,
historical record. •Examples : jessica sojo'
documentaries

7. INFOMERCIALS
•Blended words of information and commercials.
Informative commercials. A long television
advertisements that contains a lot of information
and seems like a normal program.
•Examples : A drive on how to fight COVID 19,
NDRRM advertisement on fire prevention, and
other natural disasters.

8. MOVIE/VIDEO CLIP
•A strip of motion picture film, especially an
excerpt from a longer film or one inserted as part
of another presentation, as of a telecast or fulllength motion picture.
•It is just a portion of the entire film usually cut to
pick specific scene or highlight of the movie.
