PRACTICAL RESEARCH I
1. INTRODUCTION
Schools play a crucial role in shaping the future
of society, it provides an environment where
students gain knowledge and learn basic skills
that are essential for contributing to society.
Schools provide a unique and diverse environment
which also makes it an excellent setting for
qualitative research because it can be studied
from many perspectives. Through research,
researchers can help in promoting quality
education and meeting the needs of students and
educators. Studies conducted in educational
settings can contribute to the broader body of
knowledge surrounding education, helping to
inform policy and practice in the field. This can help
in ensuring that schools are preparing their
students for a brighter future.
QUALITATIVE RESEARCH DESIGN
Using qualitative research in educational
settings is both underrated and important. While
quantitative research is more widely used in
academic settings due to its effectiveness in
analyzing and collecting data, qualitative research
offers a unique perspective that can be just as
valuable. In qualitative research, data is primarily
expressed through descriptive and conceptual
language, which can be difficult to measure but
can provide valuable insights into the experiences
and perspectives of students and educators. By
delving deeper into these qualitative elements,
we can gain a more nuanced understanding of
the complex issues facing educational institutions
today.

overlooked by teachers, being
subjected to racial slurs or

feeling isolated or marginalized
in school.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, by using qualitative research in
schools, we can work towards creating more
equitable and effective educational environments
for all students.
