General Information
A. Description:
In adherence to PCW Memorandum Circular No. 2020 and Regional
Memorandum No. 197, s. 2020 titled Adjustment and/or Implementation of the FY 2020
GAD Plan and Budget in View of the COVID 19 Situation and Regional Memorandum No.
225, s. 2020 titled Intensifying the WASH in School (WinS) Program, the teaching and
non-teaching personnel of Sario D. Roda Elementary School proposes the renovation
of the school’s old handwashing facility.
This project is aimed at augmenting the needed facilities for proper
handwashing, sanitation and hygiene to prevent the spread of Corona Virus among
learners, teachers, other employees and stakeholders in school. There is a
handwashing facility inside each classroom but the old handwashing facility outside the
classrooms can be repaired to promote the handwashing habit of the learners and
teachers.
Aside from the wearing of face masks/shields and the use of alcohol and other
disinfectant, handwashing is deemed to be one of the timely and efficient measures in
the fight against the virus. Hence, it is hoped that this proposal would merit
consideration and favorable approval.
III.
Objective
1. To renovate the old handwashing facility in school with water installation and
soap for the use of learners, teachers, parents and other stakeholders in school.
