They give it a lot of fancy names and justifications,
but within humanity there seems to be unending
inequality, oh what is happening to us?
Those born with silver spoons inherit their ancestors
riches and those born with debts inherit their sins
What sort of a world are we born into, where those in
power trample upon the weaker as if they are the
stepping stones to success
What sort of a cage are we born into, a ring fight where
the only ones who escape are those who exploit the
others in order to make money and win
I think they called it capitalism, the rigged system
where everyday the rich make more and more off the backs
of the poor who can afford less and less
Unfathomable injustice takes place and most of us do not
even bat an eye
Which is why this inhumane discrimination continues on
without being eradicated
Our society continues to run, carefully weaving around
the misery and struggle of those excluded from the
narrative
Yes they give it a lot of fancy names and
