Take a full IMAGE BACKUP of HTSVR01A before carrying out this procedure Description of the procedure: - Always download a new copy of McAfee Endpoint Product Removal (EPR) before each use by downloading at https://www.mcafee.com/content/enterprise/en-us/downloads/myproducts/downloads.html 2 When you use the latest version, newer McAfee products can be successfully recognized. - Completing this step requires a restart. - You must only use this tool if the Windows removal methods don’t work. Note: Daniel sent the EPR tool via Zalo Step USE THE TOOL TO REMOVE MCAFEE AGENT IN HTSVR01A - Copy EPR tool to C:\Temp folder of HTSVR01A - Run with the administrator the tool: McAfeeEndpointProductRemoval_22.x 3 (always use the latest) - Select the components you want to remove > Click remove Status - Step The removal will be started and the machine will reboot. INSTALL AGENT FROM MCAFEE EPO For this time, the installation will be installed for HTSVR01A only Steps to do: 3 a. Select Menu | Systems | System Tree, then select the groups or systems where you want to deploy McAfee Agent. b. Ping if it can reach out to HTSVR01A c. Click Actions | Agent | Deploy Agents. d. Select the appropriate Agent version drop-down list given the target operating system and select a version from that list. e. Select these options as appropriate: • f. Force installation over existing version Type a valid credentials in the Domain, User name, and Password and Confirm password fields. (Select: Remember my credentials for future deployments.) g. Enter values in the Number of attempts (3), Retry interval (30), cancel after (5) h. Select All Agent Handlers. i. Click OK The Server Task Log page appears with the Deploy McAfee Agent task listed. Step INSTALL PRODUCT UPDATE FROM MCAFEE EPO Update MsgBus_Cert_Update.5.7.2 a. Select System Tree >> SERVERS>> HTSVT01A b. Click Action>> Agent >> Run Client Task Now c. Click McAfee Agent >> Product Update > Update_MsgBus Cert Update 5.7.2 d. Click McAfee Agent >> Product Update > Update Step UPDATE SECURITY POLICY FROM HTSVT01A Login to HTSVR01A, right-click the McAfee icon, and Update Security
