During her stay at_______ Elementary School, she displayed great talents in managing her
classroom using different teaching strategies to meet the learning needs of her heterogeneous class.
Teaching in a public school here in the Philippines is far more different and difficult than teaching
in a private school because some of the pupils are neglected and sent to school even without paper
or pencil. They don’t even have their snack during recess time and never have a single penny to
buy anything in the canteen. The problem with their discipline is also something that manifests in
their behavior at home. As a teacher, she always has extra school supplies for this kind of learner
which she purchased with her own money. She also buys food for them to make them feel that the
school is a place where they can feel the genuine love that they failed to have from their homes.
She also allows extra time and effort for remedial teaching to help those who are left behind and
having a hard time understanding the lesson.
I was fortunate enough to see her grow and learn as an educator as she began introducing
innovative new teaching styles which she gained thru attending training. We both witnessed these
new techniques as effective measures that significantly changed how her pupils behave and learn.
As a teacher coach, our school is a consistent winner in the district Science Quiz Investigatory
Projects and other Science-related contests. Seeing her skills and potential, the District Supervisor
of Gabaldon which our school is under his supervision, appointed Ms. ______ as the District
Science Coordinator from 2020 to present.
Aside from teaching Science, Ms._________ also excels in Campus Journalism producing
competitive young journalists winning in the higher level of competition for quite some time.
It's not just her teaching skills that impressed me a lot. Her passion, positive attitude, and ability
to never give up on a child made her an asset to the school. Her commitment and empathy were
also necessary and valued not just by myself, but also by her student's parents. I am absolutely
