serves as an ideal stepping-stone to the more advanced LPIC

See Security College is a highly specialized and
international cyber-security college. Our college is
one of seven colleges of its kind in the world and
deals with cyber-security exclusively, by using
education methodologies which were designed for
state and formal agencies.
In this program, you will be familiar with the main
maintenance avenue for Linux systems and will be
able to operate them.
The college delivers its study programs worldwide,
through the See Security International brand as
well as through well-known cyber-security agencies
dealing with cyber-defence exportation.
LPI's industry standard certification is delivered in
thousands of locations worldwide, in several
languages and with the support of employers,
suppliers, and lecturers.
See-Security Technologies CEO, Mr. Avi
Weissman is one of the leaders in the Israeli Cyber
industry, and serves as an advisor and commentator
to the Israeli government on the regulation of cyber
professions standards. In addition, Mr. Weissman is
the founder of the Israeli Forum for Information
Security (IFIS) together with Maj. Gen. (Res.) and
former head of National Security Council, Yaakov
Amidror. He is also a co-CEO of cyber human
resources company, See-HR, cyber security
consulting company, See Consulting Cyber and in
the international cyber security college, See
Security International.
See Security College has developed a unique course
for training network administrators and system
administrators for a Linux environment. The
curriculum includes a final project that prepares the
student for practical integration into the industry.
The goal of the program is to train students to work
with Linux systems and to prepare them for the
international certification exam
Target Audience
About the Program
The program is targeted to IT, system or Networking
professionals as well as code developers.
In recent years, Linux has become an operating
system that is at the heart of many IT departments.
Large companies are using Linux and open source
systems, therefore, network managers and IT
professionals must have a thorough knowledge of
these systems.
Academic Faculty
Yaki Ben-Nissan the Director of the program, is an
Information Security developer and senior Lecturer.
LPI is a non-profit organization established since

Remarks
1. Opening of the course depends on the number
of enrolled applicants (at least 10 participants).
2. Registration fees are not refundable, excluding
the event that the college does not open the
program.
3. Any costs of external examination are not
included in the tuition fees of the program.
4. There may be some changes in the program
layout, exams or any other issues. The College
Board will inform students before making such
alterations.
Linux System Administrator
This is in addition to the recommended international
certification exam - LPI Linux Essentials.
Tuition Fees
4,300 INS (including registration fees and tax).
Course Format
The course will be held twice a week, in the evenings.
There will be 40 hours of in-class lectures (10
sessions). Lectures are held at See-Security College
in Ramat-Gan. The program opens about two times
a year.

Pedagogic Requirements
Academic Information:
1. Attendance in at least 80% of lectures.
2. At the end of every module, there will be an
examination and/or an assignment. Students
must obtain an average of at least 70%. There is
a possibility to take a make-up exam.

This course teaches the basic concepts of processes,
programs and the components of the Linux operating
system. You learn the basic knowledge of computer
hardware, gain an understanding of open source
applications in the workplace, and learn to navigate
systems on a Linux desktop rudimentary commands to
navigate the Linux command line.
This course is a prep course for the Linux Essentials exam
from Linux Professional Institute and is meant to help those
without Linux experience to pass their first Linux
certification. This course covers objectives for both the LPI
Essentials exam version 1.0 and 1.5.
