b. Perform Jumping Rope Skills in relay through “Jump Rope Relay”.
c. Appreciate the importance of Jumping Rope through writing a reflection based on their
experience.

Topic: Jump Rope Relay

Materials: Ropes (3 ½), empty bottles, printed materials, DS tape, call cards
Procedure

Greetings!

(Teacher will explain the activity)
Instruction: Let the student puzzle the scrabbled word in chalkboard. (Group them into four)

c.1 Activity
(Playground activity)
Yes, but before we proceed let’s have a lively activity first. Who wants to run and
jump? (Teacher will explain the activity, divide them into 4 groups, and Instruct Safety Protocols)
Activity: Jump and Run
In 10 m each member of group will run and along the way they will jump on the bottle
using one leg, until all are done. First group to finish will win a prize.

Indeed, it is important to follow the rules and regulations on how to take care of
our body, remember our philosophy? “Healthy mind and body is our treasure for eternity.” God says; in 1
Corinthians 6:19 …Our body is a temple of God… so we are responsible in taking for it, for the
furtherance of His work.

c.5 Application
Activity performance: “Jump Rope Relay”
Instruction:
(1) Divide class into 2 groups (depends on # of students)
(2) Each member of the team must run to their jump ropes (30ft in front of
them) do five jumps and return to their team and tag the next player.
But, there are variation need to perorm by the team:
a. Jump one foot
b. Jump rope backwards
c. Jump while skip counting by 5 up to 50
d. forward jump
(3) First group to finish will sit down and wait for others.
(Teacher will give the rubrics for the said activity)
