DESIRED RESULT
SYSTEM TO ENGAGE AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE
We want our
students to engage
in schoolwide
leadership roles that
make a meaningful
contribution to our
effectiveness. Our
eventual goal is to
have 100% of our
students engaged in
a schoolwide role
each year.
• Available schoolwide student leadership roles
are advertised on our morning announcements
and on the board at our Application Station.
• Students are chosen through an application
process that may or may not include an
interview.
• Each schoolwide leadership role has a
commonly formatted details page describing the
role and an adult sponsor overseeing training,
effectiveness, and celebrations.
• We consistently ask ourselves, “What are adults
doing that kids could be doing?”
