NARRATIVE REPORT
DAMATH
As one of the events conducted in the celebration of International Mathematics Day last
March 14, 2023, the students of Quezon Bukidnon Comprehensive National High School got
the chance to apply and enhance their skills in Mathematics. It was a day of witnessing their
techniques and strategies in playing the said game.
On that day, the students exposed e their skill in DaMath Competition. It is a board game that
is similar to the concept on how to play the local game Dama, combined with computational
values and fundamental operations of Mathematics on its chips and board, respectively.
The said competition was participated by the selected students in each grade level. The six
grade levels were categorized into two, Category A and Category B. This competition not just
teaches the students on how to play but aims to further develop strengthen their math
operational skills.
The competition started at 8:35 am and ended at 11:55 am. In each category, garnering the
first place were Nobrille Lee C. Santisgo and Walter C. Santiago, second place were Joshua B.
Suarez and Phoebe Kate G. Manalo and third place were Alyssa Gwyn Colipano and Mhonic
Cinco, respectively.
