Spanish 1 Unit Quiz Outline
Part 1: Listening
- A. Spelling Practice: Spell the names I say to you in Spanish.
- What should I study? Study the alphabet and pronunciations in Spanish.
- How can I study? You can see the image below for the pronunciation matched
with the letter. You can also go to the spotify link to try and spell what the lady is
pronouncing. (note: she spells differently than me so don’t get frustrated)

B. Number Practice: Write down the phone number I tell you in Spanish.
- What should I study? Study numbers 0 - 9.
- How can I study? Watch
Spanish Listening Practice: Teléfonos de amigos and
write down the phone numbers he tells you. You can also, go through your phone
contacts and try pronouncing the phone numbers in your contacts in Spanish.
Part 2: Vocabulary

A. Fill in the Blank: Complete the dialogue with the correct word from the box.
- What should I study? Greet People and Say Goodbye and Make Introductions
section of the vocabulary.
- How can I study? Review work we’ve done and the google slides (rewatch the
videos on the slides). Create your own written conversation using the vocabulary
to see how it flows and what makes the most sense. Erase parts of that
conversation to see if you can figure out what the conversation would be.

B. Matching: Match the picture to the vocabulary word.
- What should I study? Describe the Weather section of the
vocabulary.
- How can I study? Review task cards. Look at the weather
app on your phone for different locations and match the
temperature with an expression in Spanish.

C. Open Response: Respond to the question in Spanish.
- What should I study? Days of the week and months of the year. This can be found
in the vocabulary section of google classroom.
- How can I study? Review work we’ve completed about months and days of the
week (review the calendar you made). Review the order of days, what holidays
are in what months, and how to say what day it is. Create a weekly schedule using
the days of the week in Spanish.
