Taira TETRA Server
The power of modern TETRA
Operators across the telecom world
are seeking to cut the costs of their
hardware and operations.
The Taira TETRA Server is compatible
with today’s wide portfolio of TETRA
solutions.
Telecom vendors are responding by
offering servers that can be used in
a more versatile way. The response
from Airbus is the Taira TETRA
Server, which brings the same
advantages – and more.
Thanks to hardware that is familiar
from many deployments in the IT
world, the Taira TETRA Server is easy
to set up and maintain.
Based on the unmatched, widely
used DXT switching solution, the
Taira TETRA Server combines all
the advantages of Airbus TETRA
networks with modern server
hardware technology and full hot
standby redundancy giving service
without any breaks.
The Taira TETRA Server components
can be installed into any 19-inch rack
suitable for the setup and site.
The graphical user interface offers an
easy and fast way to configure the
network.
The Taira TETRA Server delivers the
same features as the latest DXT
switches, which form the basis of
hundreds large and small Airbus
TETRA networks around the world.
In addition, the Taira works as the
Tactilon® Agnet server for smartphone
clients providing common services for
both TETRA and smartphone users.
TETRA operators planning to
modernise their network can now
achieve further benefits if they choose
the new Taira TETRA Server. New
networks will also enjoy the same
benefits and achieve a best of breed
total cost of ownership from the
beginning.
