Business Communication -> Interview analysis
My name is Baxomjon Farmonov and I am group A of AC2. I'm here not only to assess the efficiency of
Group A's interview on October 14th, but also to express my thoughts in the form of comments. This essay
will focus on each of the five categories that pro forma was divided into.
First impression!
The interview began when a candidate entered the room. The first candidate showed some self-confidence
on herself and it seemed to all that the interviewee was out of stress. However, when one of the
interviewers requested her to come into the room and take a seat, they both said "hi" and "hello" at the
start and conclusion of the greeting and the interviewee did not confirm the candidate by asking for her
name. In this situation there was no handshake between each other and it is clear that she doesn’t fit his
religion but any instructions I didn’t see that. Despite this, the applicant appeared to be in good shape and
was well prepared for the interview.
Opening phase!
Actually, I have to remind that before the interview began, we observed a pleasant little discussion between
them but interviewee didn’t give any explanation like (interview will be 15 minutes). No motivation and no
clear orientation I have not seen that. Nevertheless, when it comes to guidelines, I must state that all
interviewers were highly responsible for what they were supposed to do there by this, I mean that candidate
had an opportunity to learn who they were, what their responsibilities in the firm were, and why they were
participating in the interview. And it was all told in a logical order that we could follow.
Question-response phase
The question-response phase, it is important to notice that, got off to a great start, starting with behavioral
questions and progressing to job-related inquiries, including the abilities that the candidate can bring to the
organization. For instance, 3 all interviewee requested about candidate’s weaknesses, strength, projects and
his job. I really like this behavioral question: This role requires a lot of multitasking. How do you prioritize?
And this situation candidate explained with her own multiple projects. Moreover, I want to remind here
working with resume throughout interview and all interviewee have paid excellent attention candidate’s
resume, furthermore, I have seen that good eye contact with each other .
Closing phase
The interview was completed successfully, the interviewer informed the candidate about the end of the
interview and gave her time to get answer for her own questions and they had to announce when the results
would come out.
My thoughts
In my opinion, in last part they need to neutral interactions with each other. In addition, some of two
interviewees a bit stressed therefore it is hard to communicate with participants, they had to hide their
stress. It is important to say that, this candidate will hire this job because she responded all questions with
natural, smile, body language, eye-contact and explained life experiences.
