The Incorporation of Technology Into a New Normal.
Dumagpi, Romel Y.
BSCE-2M
Performance Innovative Task for ES209
Introduction
Other people's points of view are quite important. It opens the door for far
greater tolerance and understanding when you can see things from another
person's perspective. Even while something could appear enormous at first look,
it could actually be rather little. Perspectives will both help and hinder perception.
In this activity, each student was tasked with looking for eighteen men
and women, for a total of thirty six people, to answer a survey questionnaire
consisting of three questions about recent topics in our society. To gather the
necessary information, descriptive research design and survey questionnaire
methods are being used. These techniques are commonly used in gathering data.
Descriptive research design includes qualitative aspects such as sample data
descriptions that will be used in analyzing and creating conclusions about the
respondents' perspectives on the mentioned social issues. The survey
questionnaire method, on the other hand, serves as a statistical tool by collecting
and tabulating the quantitative aspects that are critical in determining the
respondents' perspectives in number form. Using these methods, I was able to
gauge public sentiment on our social issues. After reading the survey
respondents' comments, I was astounded to see how diverse everyone's opinions
were that people differ in their thoughts on a matter from mine.
Questions:
The purpose of this survey is to find out what the participants think about
some of the most important challenges and difficulties facing society today. The
following inquiries are attempted to be answered by this study:
1. Are you in favor of the implementation of mandatory vaccinations
against COVID since the pandemic started? Accordingly, are you
willing to be vaccinated or not?
2. Are you in favor of the continuation of online classes or remote
learning for students? Accordingly, which do you prefer, Online
Classes or Face to Face Classes?
3. Are you in favor of the exposure of kids to gadgets and social media
during their formative years? Accordingly, would you allow kids to
grow up exposed/used to them?
Data Collection Procedure
To gather the information required for the paper, the following process was
employed. The first step was to create a Google form with survey questions that
respondents to the research may answer. A simple sample approach was used to
distribute the Google form link to peers, allowing them to share their thoughts on
some of the prevalent issues and problems in modern society. The form was
closed after the needed limit of 36 responders had been reached, and the data
collected was stored for examination.
Results and Discussions
This section provides, examines, and interprets the data from the study.
The sequence in which the findings are presented is taken directly from the issue
description.
Table 1
Question 1: Are you in favor of the implementation of mandatory vaccinations
against COVID since the pandemic started? Accordingly, are you willing to be
vaccinated or not?
Table 1 illustrates the Youth’s responses to question 1, showing that majority of the
male and female respondents chose the answer “Pro-Vax”,
The results of their responses reveals that the majority of the respondents are in
favor of
the implementation of mandatory vaccinations against COVID since the pandemic
started.
Table 2
Question 2: Are you in favor of the continuation of online classes or remote learning
for students? Accordingly, which do you prefer, Online Classes or Face to Face
Classes?
Table 2 illustrates the Youth’s responses to question 2, showing that majority of
both
male and female respondents are in favor of “Face to Face Classes”,
On the other hand, all Youth
female respondents are in favor of the continuation of F2F classes. Hence, the
majority of the
respondents are more prefer with having face to face classes.
Table 3
Question 3: Are you in favor of the exposure of kids to gadgets and social media
during their formative years? Accordingly, would you allow kids to grow up
exposed/used to them?
Table 3 illustrates the Youth’s responses to question 3, shows that majority of the
respondents are not in favor of the exposure of kids to gadgets and social media
during their
formative years,
The majority of the respondents are not in favor of the exposure of kids to gadgets
and social
media during their formative years.
Conclusion
A person's viewpoint on the ideas or concerns that have been given to them,
particularly that of a man or a woman, differs. It might be challenging to
anticipate people's reactions to a certain topic since some participants have
diverse perspectives on various problems. Additionally, having them involved
makes this activity much easier. We should appreciate each other's perspectives
on various ideas or concerns since each human brain is distinct and every one of
our thoughts is distinctive.
