and experiences, and drawing on knowledge and
experience from all over the world, this perspective offers
a productive counterweight to "culture bound" or
ethnocentric ideas regarding human nature, values, and
ways of life.





interactions by focusing on the meanings that
individuals assign to things in the world around
them, including words and objects.
Conflict Perspective

is a view of society that posits conflict as a
normal feature of social life.
Difference between anthropological and
sociological perspective

Anthropology studies human behaviour at the micro-level of an
individual which an anthropologist will take an example of the larger
culture. Sociology, on the other hand, tends to look at the bigger
picture, often studying political movements, and the power relations
of different groups with each other.
