Many countries are experiencing serious problems with their environment, with
pollution of their land, water and air. What are these problems and how might
they be reduced?
There are crucial environmental issues that our planet has been facing for several
years. These problems are escalating dramatically all over the world nowadays.
These include a vast variety of contamination: land, water and air pollution. The
question is, how could we reduce our carbon footprint and tackle these issues?
There’s no doubt that the whole humanity has been polluting our planet for
decades, but this process has especially increased in our modern age with the
rapid growth of the urbanization and technology. What I mean by that, is the
development of cities requires more consumption. Hence, such tendencies of
consumerism lead to an escalation of pollution of various kinds in numerous
countries. For instance, factories and plants inevitably poison water and air,
vehicles produce carbon emissions which are damaging to the environment.
Moreover, the overuse of nonrenewable resources and energy is devastating.
Under these critical circumstances the question is occurred: how can these issues
in terms of environment be tackled? In my opinion, governments should take the
main responsibility to solve such problems. Firsty, it is particularly crucial to invest
in recycling and sustainable politics, as well as to impose restrictions on factories
so that the level of pollution would be reduced. Secondly, governments should
bring awareness among people and encourage them to be more eco-friendly.
Finally, people themselves should understand their responsibility and the
importance of the individual contribution. We need to do our bit as well, for
example, save energy and water, segregate garbage, reuse and recycle more.
To conclude, our humanity should be more careful towards the planet and its
nature. We need to be more conscious in order to save our environment and
therefore our future.
