New Citroën C5 X Plug-in Hybrid offers zero compromise, combining the advantages of
driving in electric mode for most daily journeys using its 81.2 kW motor with the efficient
PureTech 180 Stop & Start Euro 6.3 petrol engine for those longer trips. When combined,
the plug-in hybrid emits just 30g/km of CO2 (WLTP combined cycle).
The electrified ë-EAT8 automatic gearbox ensures exceptional smoothness and driving ability
thanks to the instant availability of 360 Nm of torque. C5 X Plug-in Hybrid also offers an
ingenious 'Brake mode', that when selected, uses the electric motor to recover energy back
into the battery when braking and decelerating. This feature is particularly beneficial when
driving, allowing you to automatically and progressively slow the vehicle when lifting off the
accelerator pedal.
Choose from four driving modes: Electric, Hybrid, Comfort or Sport. Just select your preferred
option via the central console selector. The Citroën Advanced Comfort ® Active Suspension
automatically adapts to each of the driving modes.

steering, speed and braking automatically. As such, when activated, the driver no

an orange light in the corner of each exterior mirror when there's a presence
of a vehicle in the blind spot, and can spot hazards up to 70 metres away.
This system alerts the driver to hazards that may be out of view when reversing
and can detect pedestrians, motorcycles, bicycles and vehicles.
The Proximity Keyless Entry and Start locks and unlocks Citroën C5 X
automatically when the driver approaches or departs the vehicle when the key
is on their person. To start the vehicle, simply press the Stop/Start button.

HIGH BEAM ASSIST
Assesses the driver's level of alertness by identifying trajectory changes
in relation to the lane markings and prompts the driver to take a break.
This feature is useful when driving on longer motorway journeys.
This system uses a camera that recognises solid and broken lines on the road
and is active when driving over 40 mph. If the line is crossed without the
indicator being activated, the steering with gradually counter steer to keep
the vehicle in its initial lane. This helps to combat a lack of alertness on the
part of the driver.
Ensures optimal lighting when driving at night, the system automatically
switches between dipped and high beam depending on the traffic situation,
when oncoming cars are detected or during overtaking manoeuvres.

onto the driver's display and Extended Head-Up Display. It can read speed limits,

Using either the touchscreen or My Citroën app, charging of C5 X Plug-in
Hybrid can be scheduled to take advantage of off-peak electricity tariffs.
The charging flap, positioned at the rear left, features LED lights to display
the current charging status or view remotely via the My Citroën app. Once
charging has finished, there's a dedicated space under the boot floor to store
the charging cables.
When driving in electric mode, a cyan-blue LED illuminates under the rearview
mirror identifying that you are emitting zero emissions, helpful in cities where
access may be restricted.

Thanks to its 7.4kW on-board charger, Citroën C5 X Plug-in Hybrid can be
fully charged in under two hours when using the supplied Type 2 charging
cable and a 32A charge point.
For occasional use, it is also possible to purchase
(as an accessory) a 13A, 3-pin plug/socket domestic
charging cable. Using this mode of charging,
C5 X Plug-in Hybrid can be fully charged in under 8 hours.

The driver has access to several intuitive interfaces that are easy to read
and use and assist in making the best use of the Hybrid powertrain.
The driver's display features an electric section that can show the level
of charge, remaining range and energy flows. Dedicated pages on the
touchscreen display show the operating status of the Hybrid powertrain,
deferred charging setup, the chosen temperature for interior preconditioning and the e-save function - which allows the driver to reserve
part or all of the electric range for 100% electric driving later on in the
journey. When Citroën C5 X Plug-in Hybrid is charging, the screen
displays the remaining time left until fully charged, the recovered range
in miles and the battery charge percentage.
