Article 4 Tourism industry
1. Tourist industry – a set of accommodation facilities for tourists, transport, catering facilities,
entertainment facilities and facilities, educational, recreational, business, sports and other
facilities; organizations engaged in tourism activities, as well as organizations providing
excursion services and guide services.
2. Types of services in the tourism industry:
1) Services for the provision of tours;
2) Services for the provision of places of residence;
3) Catering services;
4) Information, advertising services;
5) Transport services;
5-1) services for the provision (including booking, sale and delivery) of tickets for all types of
transport and tickets for attending events;
6) Entertainment services;
7) Other tourist services provided for by the contract for tourist services.
Article 5. Tourist resources
Classification and assessment of the tourist resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the regime for
their protection, the procedure for using them, taking into account the maximum permissible loads on
the environment and maintaining the integrity of the tourist resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan,
measures for their restoration are determined in the manner established by the legislation of the
Republic of Kazakhstan.
