SERVICE PROVISION TIERS/BENCHMARK LETTER EXCLUSIONS
The SER300 report series includes a tiered data category that reports the percentage of service delivered towards
the student’s target service minutes as required per their IEP

A service delivery percent is calculated by dividing minutes delivered by the adjusted target.
An adjusted target is the total target minutes calculated based on the service prescription minus any documented
canceled session minutes.
Example: When a provider documents services using service tracking codes (i.e. SA‐ cancelled student absent, SN‐
student no show, PR‐ parent refused, etc.). The student’s target will automatically be adjusted and those cancelled
minutes will be subtracted from the target.

*Providers must pay attention to any minutes appearing as “Minutes Owed” in the SER300 reports to ensure
accurate service provision. Please continue to download and review the SER300P(A) and SER315P reports every
week (preferably Tuesdays) and reconcile any time owed.
