SAAB SeaEye Falcon 14287 Post Operational Checks Client / Location Date ROV SeaEye Falcon F2 Post – Operational Checks Serial Number 14287 Check Done WARNING – DANGER of Fatal Electrical Shock Switch off all supply to the PSU and check all indicators are extinguished Physical Checks Wipe Camera lens clean and replace lens caps Remove Thruster retaining bolts and clean the motor shaft, space washer and internal propeller components. Refit the thruster propeller and propeller retaining bolts and check they are secure. Check Thrusters and Tilt Platform are free from Fouling Confirm ALL vent plugs are securely fitted. Note: If conducting several dives per day and the vehicle remains wet, a visual check of the vent plugs can be carried out after the completion of the first dive as a security check. This ensures that there is no water ingress into the vent plug screw hole. Remove any debris from the structures Confirm All lamp glasses are undamaged. Check all connectors are properly mated, sleeved and all cables secure and clear of propellers Check all Camera /adaptors are correctly fitted and secure. Check all thrusters , lamps and all accessory equipment , fairing, and buoyancy modules are correctly fitted and secure Note: If any major components of the vehicle have been added or removed the ballast of the vehicle must be checked and adjusted as necessary. Carry out the following switch settings Lights Control Set fully anti clockwise HCU Lights Switch Set to Off Vertical Thruster and Set to Central Position Tilt control Thruster Enable Switch Set to Disable (UP) Power up the system and carry out the following functional tests. Confirm Monitor Displays video image with overlay data (for all cameras fitted) Confirm correct operation of the Tilt Platform by operating the Tilt control fully up and down. Warning – Danger to Personnel Don not look directly at LED Lights when illuminated. Wear protective glasses. LED Light produce intense white light that can cause dame to your eyes. Operate Lights and confirm Lights illuminate by switching the lights switch on and Lights control from low to High. Switch Lights to OFF. Caution – Danger of Damage to the Thruster. Do not operate Thruster in AIR for more than one minute as this may cause damage to the Thruster. SAAB SeaEye Falcon 14287 Post Operational Checks Operate the Thruster motors as follows Thruster enable switch HCU Vertical Thruster Control Joystick Control Thruster Enable Switch Operate and test Sonar, Manipulators Pilot / Operator Supervisor Set to Enable (Down) Operate and confirm the Vertical Thruster operates correctly. Operate in all directions and confirm Thrusters respond correctly in all axes Set to Disable (UP)
